Isaac del Toro Set for UAE Tour 2026 Debut Alongside Elite Competition

Mexican cycling talent Isaac del Toro is set to make his debut appearance at the UAE Tour, scheduled to run from February 16 to 22, 2026. The prestigious Middle Eastern race will feature an impressive lineup including Tour de France champion Jonas Vingegaard and Belgian star Remco Evenepoel.

Race Structure and Key Stages

The 2026 edition of the UAE Tour comprises seven stages, with organizers incorporating both a time trial and two mountain finishes into the challenging route. The time trial segment will cover a distance of 12.2 kilometers, adding a crucial technical element to the overall race dynamics.

UAE Team Emirates Strategy

In the absence of team leader Tadej Pogacar, del Toro will join forces with Jay Vine to represent UAE Team Emirates. The Mexican cyclist has been designated as the team’s second option, indicating the squad’s tactical approach to the week-long stage race.

The team’s strategy for the various stages, particularly during the mountain finishes and time trial, will be crucial as they face off against some of the world’s top cyclists in what promises to be an intense competition across the Emirates.
